Ashton Phillips
Pure Filth Society is an ongoing experimental collaboration founded by Ashton Phillips and Dylan Ricards. Their work focuses on the liberating power of filth, the precarity and mutability of form (including the human form), and the pursuit of pleasure, play, and connection as forms of queer resistance and faith.
In this chat, Ashton talks about interspecies performance, the ritual and religious symbolism in their performance, and the individual practices of Pure Filth Society’s performers.
