House on Fire (Wells Leng, Richard An, and Andrew Anderson) is a new music trio of pianists, whose multi-instrumentalism allows for an expanded repertoire that includes cello, percussion, toy piano and other keyboard instruments. For this month’s film, they play “melodica bagpipes.”

In this chat, two members of House on Fire talk about gradual process music, being a performer/composer, and, of course, the melodica bagpipes.
